Yovana Segarra has been appointed as General Manager at W Panama
Marriott International is proud to announce the appointment of Yovana Segarra as General Manager of the W Panama, marking a new milestone in her career, this time in the luxury sector, as the first woman to hold the position of General Manager at this property.
Yovana Segarra is a hotel leader with over 26 years of experience, with a successful and proven track record in many areas of the industry, including hotel management, revenue management, sales and marketing, food and beverage operations, and management.
During her professional career, she has served as General Manager of several Marriott properties in Panama; in addition, she held various leadership positions at both the Westin Playa Bonita and the Westin Panama, including Director of Revenue Management and Director of Operations.
She also worked for several years at the Sheraton Grand Panama Hotel and Convention Center where she held multiple leadership roles from 2004 to 2009, including Director of Sales and Marketing and Director of Revenue Management.
Yovana is a graduate of the Technological University of Panama. In her free time she enjoys going to the movies with her husband, traveling and spending time with her family at the beach.
