Jairah Ramirez has been appointed as Opening Director of Sales at Moxy Phoenix Downtown
PEG Hospitality Group, a Utah-based, full-service hospitality company, announced today that Jairah Ramirez will serve as the property's Director of Sales. Jairah will join General Manager Eren Bicakci to open The Moxy Phoenix Downtown this winter 2023. Located at 116 South Central Avenue, this playful hotel brand offers guests a unique and exciting guest experience.
The Moxy Phoenix Downtown is situated in the Luhrs Building, built in 1924. This historical building is iconic to downtown Phoenix, with it being the first ten-story high-rise in the city. Located just steps from the Valley's metro light rail, Footprint Center and Chase Field, the Moxy Phoenix Downtown provides an ideal central location for fun hunting weekday, or weekend warrior travelers alike looking to "Play On" and stay close to the city's entertainment hub.
With nearly a decade of hospitality experience, Jairah started her career as the Director of Sales for the Hilton Garden Inn in Elko, Nev. While working at the hotel, she was able to gain experience in sales, food and beverage, and mixology. In growing her career, she relocated to Utah and accepted the position of Director of Sales with the Hyatt Place Provo. While in this role, Jairah's greatest success was establishing key accounts for the hotel and creating relationships built on trust and loyalty with clients. She loved the hotel and community, but when the opportunity arose to open a new hotel, in a historic building, in a warm sunny state, she couldn't pass up the opportunity.
