Phil Smith has been appointed as General Manager at Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay
Phil Smith takes over the mantle from Melvin Lim, who is now the GM of Pan Pacific Singapore. Smith brings with him an illustrious career spanning over 38 years. Smith's career has led him across various countries in diverse roles, including significant positions in New Zealand, Canada, China, Malaysia, and Singapore. His extensive experience includes notable roles within the Pan Pacific Hotels Group and the former FRHI Hotels & Resorts, now part of the Accor Lux Group.
Smith started his journey with the Pan Pacific Hotels Group in 2020 at Parkroyal Penang, followed by his transfer to Parkroyal Collection Pickering, Singapore in February 2022. His recent appointment as the general manager of Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay marks a strategic move towards furthering the hotel's reputation as an award-winning destination. Renowned for his leadership and track record in elevating luxury brands, Smith's vision aligns with the hotel's commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable practices.
