Christopher Guse has been appointed as General Manager at Hotel Van Zandt

Hotel Van Zandt, one of Austin's premier boutique hotel destinations, has appointed Christopher Guse as General Manager. A veteran of the hotel and hospitality sectors, Mr. Guse joins Hotel Van Zandt from Sage Hospitality Group's Sheraton Austin, where he has served as General Manager since 2021.

Mr. Guse's tenure at Sheraton Austin is marked by multiple successes, including his oversight of a property-wide rebrand in Spring 2023 and consistent top-tier Employee Satisfaction Scores (ESS). Under his stewardship, the team achieved an impressive overall engagement score of 83.8, positioning the property among the top three for all Sage Hospitality Group hotels.

Mr. Guse has also served in General Manager roles for White Lodging Services' Renaissance Boulder Flatiron and Kimpton's Monaco Denver; as well as Assistant General Manager of Phoenix's Hotel Palomar. He has also held multiple leadership roles at Starwood's Sheraton Wild Horse Pass in Phoenix.
