Richard J. Fischer has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing at Canopy by Hilton Sioux Falls Downtown

Fischer joins Canopy by Hilton Sioux Falls Downtown with more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience. Throughout his career, he has held various sales and marketing roles throughout the Midwest, overseeing an array of full service, lifestyle, all suites and focused service brands. Most recently, he served as director of sales and marketing for Homewood Suites by Hilton Edina Minneapolis and prior, he held roles at Hampton Inn & Suites Minneapolis/Downtown, Embassy Suites by Hilton Minneapolis Downtown and DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Minneapolis Downtown.

In his new role at Canopy by Hilton Sioux Falls Downtown, Fischer will lead all strategic sales and marketing endeavors, while supporting the hotel's mission to provide outstanding service to guests.

Fischer holds a bachelor's degree in Business from Western Michigan University.
