Gaurav Apte has been appointed as Area General Manager at Crowne Plaza Gurgaon

Crowne Plaza Today Gurugram is thrilled to announce the appointment of Gaurav Apte as the Area General Manager for (SWA) and the General Manager of Crowne Plaza Today Gurugram. With over 23 years of extensive experience in the hospitality industry, Gaurav brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new roles.

Before joining IHG Hotels and Resorts, Gaurav spent 22 years with Marriott International mastering his craft and holding various key positions including General Manager, Resident Manager, and Director of Rooms at prominent locations across India. His recent tenure as General Manager at Goa Marriott Resort and Spa saw him successfully driving overall property performance, enhancing profitability, and ensuring unparalleled guest experiences.

Gaurav holds a Masters in Hospitality Administration (MHA) from the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Mumbai. In addition, he has a Masters in Tourism Management (MTM) and Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology (DHMCT).

In his new capacity, Gaurav will oversee the operations and strategic initiatives of IHG properties in South West Asia while also leading the team at Crowne Plaza Today Gurugram to further elevate guest satisfaction and drive business success.
