Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi has appointed Mahak Sharma as general manager.

Sharma has held key managerial roles at hotels including Holiday Inn & Suites Festival City, Hyatt Place Melbourne, Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights Hotel, and Grand Hyatt Melbourne.

Her professional journey commenced with hands-on training as a corporate leadership trainee at Hyatt Hotels.

After more than five years with Hyatt, she played a pivotal role in the opening of the Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights Hotel and Residences as front office manager. Sharma further refined her leadership skills and dedication to excellence during her tenure as director of rooms at Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights Hotel.

As hotel manager at Hyatt Place Melbourne and Holiday Inn & Suites Festival City, Sharma was instrumental in overseeing property operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and enhancing operational efficiency.

Assuming this new role, Sharma is positioned to uplift the guest experience and drive sustainable commercial growth. With her 18 years of experience in the hotel industry, she pledges to propel the hotel to new heights of success and innovation.

Mahak Sharma is an alumnus of University of Huddersfield – Class of 2008.
