DAMAC Hotels & Resorts has appointed Akshay as the senior director of commercial - sales, revenue, and distribution. With over 15 years of experience in the hotel industry's commercial sector, Akshay brings extensive knowledge and expertise to his new position.
Akshay began his career at Radisson Edwardian hotels in London and has since held key positions at renowned companies such as Emaar, Radisson, Hilton, IHG, and Accor.
His commercial strategy focuses on driving sales, optimizing revenue, and enhancing distribution channels, consistently achieving impressive results even in challenging market conditions.
Akshay Sood is an alumnus of The Oxford School of Hospitality Management (OSHM) – Class of 2003.
