Kempinski The One Suites Hotel Shanghai Downtown is pleased to announce the appointment of Florian Heiner as General Manager. In this role, he will assume full responsibility for the hotel's daily operations and management.

Born in Berlin/Germany, Heiner is a seasoned hotelier with over 27 years of global hospitality management experience, including 18 years as a General Manager. He brings extensive expertise in operations management, as well as in leading large-scale pre-opening and renovation projects. Throughout his career, Florian Heiner has worked with prestigious luxury and lifestyle brands such as Hilton, InterContinental, Wyndham, Radisson, Marriott and Dusit International in some of the world's leading urban and resort destinations, including Berlin, Davos, New York, Singapore, Bangkok, Brisbane, Shanghai and other major cities across China.

Prior to joining Kempinski The One Suites Hotel Shanghai Downtown, Heiner served as General Manager for Hilton in Shanghai-Pudong. He holds an International Executive Master of Business Administration degree from Rutgers Business School, United States. Florian Heiner's extensive global experience and deep understanding of Chinese culture will enable him to effectively lead the hotel team to consistently deliver exceptional performance for its stakeholders and to provide for all guests domestic and global luxury travellers with a home away from home alike personalized and exclusive staying experience.
