Luca Finardi has been appointed as General Manager and Area Vice President, Operations for France, Italy and Czech Republic at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group

Luca joined the Group in 2014 to lead the new Mandarin Oriental, Milan towards its opening and positioned it among the best hotels in the country; in 2018 he assumed the role of Area Vice President for Italy, supporting operations at Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como, further establishing the Group's Italian portfolio and contributing to the delivery of a robust pipeline of new developments.

In his new role at Mandarin Oriental, Paris, Luca will support current operations in France, Italy and Czech Republic. He takes over from Geraldine Dobey who will now take on fulltime responsibility as Group Director of Quality, a function she managed alongside her General Manager and AVP roles last year.
