Ishwinder Gill has been appointed as General Manager at W Goa
W Goa is excited to welcome Ishwinder Gill as its new General Manager, marking a significant milestone for the only W hotel in South Asia. Gill brings over 20 years of hospitality experience to the role, having previously served as Chief Operating Officer at Far East Hospitality, where he oversaw 26 hotels across Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, and Australia. During his time in Singapore, he played a key role in the success of several luxury brands, including The Barracks Hotel, Oasia Resort Sentosa, The Outpost Hotel, and The Clan Hotel. Prior to that, his leadership in Australia brought outstanding results across properties in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, and New Zealand.
Gill expressed his excitement about joining W Goa, stating his ambition to position it as one of India's premier aspirational destinations. Having attended Cornell University in the USA and the William Angliss Institute in Melbourne, Australia, for hospitality management, Gill is well-prepared for his new role. He and his family—his wife Sharmin and son Param—have already settled into their new life in Goa, embracing the adventure that lies ahead.
