Patricia Costa has been appointed as Sales & Marketing Director Cluster Luxe Rio de Janeiro - Brazil at Fairmont Rio de Janeiro Copacabana
With an extensive background in luxury hospitality, both in Brazil and internationally, Patricia Costa returns to the Accor Group as the newly appointed Sales and Marketing Director for the Luxe RJ Cluster.
In her new role, Patricia joins an esteemed team renowned for its excellence in Rio de Janeiro's hospitality industry. Armed with a degree in Hospitality Management from the Estoril Higher School of Hospitality and Tourism and a postgraduate degree in Hotel Management from the Universidade Lusófona in Lisbon, Patricia is set to lead the Sales & Marketing and Groups & Events teams. Her focus will be on driving revenue growth and executing strategic sales initiatives across the Luxe RJ Cluster, which includes the Fairmont Rio de Janeiro Copacabana, Santa Teresa MGallery Rio de Janeiro, the upcoming Sofitel Ipanema, and the beach clubs Tropik and Sel d'Ipanema.
Patricia brings over 20 years of luxury hotel expertise to her role, having held pivotal positions at prestigious properties such as the Pergola Boutique Hotel, Onyria Quinta da Marina Hotel, and Pestana Palace Hotel & National Monument in Portugal. She first joined Accor in Brazil in 2011 as Sales Director for Sofitel Copacabana. By 2014, she was promoted to Regional Cluster Sales Director for Sofitel in Rio de Janeiro, a role she held until 2017. She later returned to Portugal, taking on senior roles as Director of New Business at InterContinental Estoril and Sales Director at Sofitel Lisbon Liberdade. Most recently, she served as Commercial Director for DUCO Travel Summit.
Patricia Costa is an alumnus of Estoril Higher Institute for Tourism and Hotel Studies (ESTHE) – Class of 2001.
