Daniela Rico has been named Director of Operations at Grand Cayman Marriott Resort

Grand Cayman Marriott Resort is pleased to announce the appointment of Daniela Rico as its new Operations Director, effective December 1st. In her new role, Daniela will oversee the property's operations, ensuring customer satisfaction while upholding the high service standards that have become synonymous with the hotel.

Daniela's career with Marriott International began as a Concierge Supervisor at the JW Marriott Hotel Caracas in Venezuela. She was quickly promoted to Banquet Manager, and by 2013, she advanced to the Director of Event Management. Daniela then broadened her professional experience by moving to Mexico, where she took the roles of Events Manager at the JW Marriott Resort & Spa Cancun and the Marriott Resort Casa Magna, Mexico.

In 2015, she transferred to the Grand Cayman Marriott Resort as Sales Manager, and over the years, she advanced to several key roles, including Director of Sales, Director of Sales and Marketing. Her exceptional leadership and dedication have now culminated in her appointment as Operations Director.

Daniela holds a bachelor's degree in social communication from the Central University of Venezuela. In addition to her professional accomplishments, she is committed to personal wellbeing, dedicating time to meditation and reading on topics such as leadership, education, and general wellness. Outside of work, Daniela cherishes quality time with her family and close friends, enjoys dancing, and finds peace in connecting with nature.
