Kelsey Jones has been appointed Area Director of Sales & Marketing for Kimpton Hotel Monaco DC and Kimpton George in Washington, D.C. With more than 12 years of experience in sales and marketing and a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from the University of New Hampshire, Kelsey has always maintained a results-driven mindset with a focused strategy and team approach to achieve success.

A native of Long Island, NY, Kelsey began her career in hospitality at New York City's iconic hotel, The Carlyle. From there she gained pivotal experience at several New England hotels, including Wentworth by the Sea, InterContinental Boston and Revere Hotel Boston Common.

In 2017, Kelsey moved to Washington D.C. where she accepted a position as Corporate Group Sales Manager of Kimpton Hotel George and Kimpton Hotel Monaco DC. Throughout her tenure, Kelsey has moved through the ranks and embraced several promotions from Sales Manager to Area Associate Director of Sales to bring her to her current position as Area Director of Sales & Marketing. Kelsey was frequently named Manager of the Quarter over the years, and named Manager of the Year in 2023.

In this new role, Kelsey will lead her team of 12 employees ensuring the group continues to exceed the upcoming crossover revenue for both hotels located within walking distance of DC's biggest attractions - Kimpton Hotel Monaco DC, a National Historic Landmark building in Penn Quarter, and Kimpton George, in Capitol Hill capturing the congressional set; in 2023, her team exceeded by over 110% at both properties.
