Annmarie Thompson has been appointed as Director of Sales & Marketing at Hilton Barbados Resort

Hilton Barbados Resort, a luxurious and historic beachfront property known for its stunning ocean views, world-class amenities, abundant corporate and leisure group options, and ideal location, proudly announces the appointment of Annmarie Thompson as its new Director of Sales and Marketing. In this role, Thompson will oversee all aspects of sales, marketing, public relations, and revenue management strategies. Her leadership will focus on expanding the resort's market share, enhancing guest experiences, and fostering key industry partnerships to drive continued growth.

With over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, and operational leadership within the hospitality industry, Thompson brings a wealth of expertise to the resort, further strengthening its position as a premier Caribbean destination. Thompson's distinguished career spans leadership roles at renowned luxury resorts and corporate hotels, including AC Hotel Marriott in Kingston and The Crane Resort & Residences in Barbados, now a Hilton Grand Vacations-affiliated property, as well as other operational, PR, and marketing roles. Her strategic vision, extensive knowledge of brand development, and ability to drive revenue growth have been instrumental in the success of multiple properties throughout the region.

Thompson holds a Master's degree in Public Relations from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of the West Indies (Mona Campus), where she graduated with First Class Honors. Her proficiency in digital marketing, CRM, strategic planning, and brand management makes her well-equipped to lead Hilton Barbados Resort into an exciting new chapter. A multinational who has lived and worked in five countries, she returned to Barbados from Kingston, Jamaica to take up the role at the Hilton. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, discovering new travel and food experiences, dabbling in amateur photography, and spending quality time with friends and family.
