InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta, the epitome of sophisticated hospitality in Atlanta's vibrant Buckhead neighborhood, is thrilled to announce Manuel Deisen's appointment as General Manager. Bringing more than 30 years of unparalleled international experience, Deisen will now lead the entirety of the 422-room property's operations, from orchestrating strategic initiatives and refining the guest experience to optimizing financial performance and solidifying the brand's premier market position.
With over 30 years of global hospitality experience, Deisen has built a reputation for driving excellence across some of the world's most distinguished luxury brands. His tenure includes more than two decades with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, where he cultivated a deep understanding of refined service and operational excellence, followed by six years with W Hotels, where he embraced a modern, lifestyle-driven approach to luxury.
Deisen's first general manager role was at The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta, marking the beginning of a dynamic leadership journey that would span major urban and resort destinations. He went on to lead both W Chicago properties simultaneously and most recently served as General Manager of W Nashville, where his innovative leadership earned the hotel W Hotels Worldwide's 2024 Guest Experience Hotel of the Year award.
Throughout his career, Deisen has been instrumental in launching several landmark hotels, including The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes; The Ritz-Carlton Tiburon in Naples; Germany's first Ritz-Carlton; and the debut of the EDITION brand in Honolulu.
Based in East Cobb, Deisen is deeply connected to the Atlanta area, where he resides with his spouse and three adult children. Outside of his professional pursuits, he is an avid tennis and golf enthusiast and a proud supporter of the Atlanta Braves.
