Americana Motor Hotel, Flagstaff's retro-futuristic roadside retreat, has appointed Dominic Nez as its new General Manager. A seasoned leader with more than 20 years of experience across major brands and independent properties, Nez joins the team with a focus on elevating day-to-day operations, deepening guest connection, and leading the hotel into its next phase of growth in the Flagstaff community.
Nez comes to Americana Motor Hotel from Practice Hospitality—the Dallas-based hotel management company behind the property's recent transformation—where he served as Director of Operations overseeing various properties across the portfolio. Prior, Nez served as Assistant General Manager at InnVentures and held key leadership roles at Poco Diablo Resort and Spa, Amara Resort and Spa, Hilton, and Westin Hotels & Resorts. His expertise in hospitality management and business administration drives his commitment to innovation, streamlined processes, and an exceptional guest experience. Bilingual in Spanish and passionate about building inclusive teams, Nez brings a thoughtful, service-driven approach to his new role in the high desert.
Dominic Nez is an alumnus of Northern Arizona University – Class of 2005.
