Doak Walker has been appointed as General Manager at Marriott San Antonio Airport
Bricton Group proudly announces the appointment of Doak Walker as the hotel's new General Manager. In this role, Walker will oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including guest services, staff development, financial performance and continued growth within the San Antonio hospitality market.
Walker brings more than 30 years of hospitality experience to the position, having led operations for a diverse mix of branded and independent hotels across the country. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Operations for a hospitality management group with annual revenues exceeding $125 million. His background spans operations, food and beverage, finance, spa and sales, which he leverages to drive performance and enhance the guest experience.
An active figure in the San Antonio hospitality community, Walker has previously served on the executive committee of the San Antonio Hotel and Lodging Association. Beyond his operational expertise, he is recognized for his commitment to mentoring the next generation of hospitality leaders and building strong, collaborative teams.
Outside of work, Walker enjoys an active lifestyle and values quality time with his family. He and his wife Olga have four children and eight grandchildren, all residing in Texas. The Walkers make it a tradition to visit a new national park each year and share a love of travel, fitness and the outdoors.
