Kirk Marlowe has been appointed as Head of Security at Live! Casino & Hotel Virginia
Bruce Smith Enterprise and The Cordish Companies today announced the appointment of a new hire at Live! Casino & Hotel Virginia: Kirk Marlowe, Head of Security. This new executive joins recent hires, Yanina De Vargas, Chief Financial Officer for Live! Casino Virginia, and Penny Parayo, Senior Vice President and General Manager for Live! Casino Virginia, on the growing senior leadership team.
Kirk Marlowe, a long-time Virginia State Police senior leader, joins Live! Casino & Hotel Virginia as Head of Security. Mr. Marlowe brings decades of law enforcement and public safety experience over a 37-year career with the Virginia State Police, serving in a number of senior leadership roles. Mr. Marlowe is a dedicated and transformative leader, with experience in building strong workforces. Mr. Marlowe's expertise includes criminal investigation, homeland security and law enforcement. Mr. Marlowe comes from the Virginia State Police, most recently serving as the agency's first Chief Transformation Officer responsible for cross-functional initiatives that drive strategic innovation and organizational excellence. Mr. Marlowe also served as a Deputy Superintendent, Director (Lieutenant Colonel), Deputy Director (Major) and Commander (Captain) for the agency.
