Marcy Gachette

A distinguished marketing and tourism professional with over 20 years of experience in the hospitality and tourism industry, Marcy Gachette currently serves as Marketing Manager at InterContinental Dominica Cabrits Resort & Spa while also holding the position of Director of Membership for the Dominica Hotel & Tourism Association. Her extensive expertise spans traditional and digital marketing, along with strategic leadership roles in both the public and private sectors. Gachette began her hospitality career at the Radisson Hotel in New York and advanced to Guest Service Manager at Club Quarters Hotel Wall Street. During her eight years in Dominica's public tourism sector, she led numerous impactful initiatives, including Tourism Awareness Month 2016, the Adopt-a-Segment Program, the "Dominica Update" website and newsletter, and the island's inaugural voluntourism calendar. She holds an MBA in Tourism and Hospitality Management and is currently pursuing a doctorate in tourism management.
