The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort & Residences, Miami's best address, is pleased to announce the appointment of Katherine Wylie as Director of Finance and Accounting. In this role, Wylie will report directly to Carlo Javakhia, General Manager, and oversee all financial operations, driving performance and supporting the resort's continued success.
A seasoned professional with more than a decade of experience, Wylie brings a distinguished background in hospitality finance and executive leadership across luxury properties. She has held senior positions at renowned resorts including the Marriott Frenchman's Reef in St. Thomas, The Westin St. John Ocean Resort & Villas, The St. Regis Monarch Beach in California, and The Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Resort Villas in Hawaii. Most recently, she served as Director of Finance at Omni Los Angeles, where she leveraged her expertise to optimize financial performance and support strategic initiatives.
As the Pre-Opening Director of Finance for the Conrad Los Angeles, Wylie played a pivotal role in establishing financial protocols that laid the foundation for the hotel's successful launch. Earlier in her career, she served for a decade in the U.S. Air Force, where she managed finance operations at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., and in the Republic of Haiti.
Beyond her professional work, Wylie is deeply committed to community service. She serves as a board member and financial advisor to several nonprofit organizations, applying her expertise to support impactful causes. Personally, she enjoys morning runs, weekend getaways with family and friends, and exploring new culinary experiences.
