Randy Romero has been appointed General Manager at Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel, Chicago
Romero's career includes more than 35 years with Hilton Hotels Corporation, where he served as Regional Director, Full-Service & Lifestyle Brands North America, supporting a large portfolio of full-service and lifestyle hotels across the Americas, and on-property leadership positions at world-renowned assets such as Hilton Chicago, Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City, The Beverly Hilton and the legendary Waldorf Astoria New York. Throughout his tenure, he earned a reputation for elevating brand standards, strengthening service culture, and delivering measurable growth in revenue and profitability.
Romero's leadership will touch every facet of the property as he brings his respected leadership style and hospitality in guiding the teams overseeing guest rooms, FireLake Grill House & Cocktail Bar, one of the largest hotel fitness centers in the city (including indoor and outdoor pools), and more than 28,000 square feet of onsite meeting and event space.
Most recently, Romero served as General Manager of Sable at Navy Pier, Curio Collection by Hilton, where he oversaw the hotel's successful positioning and strengthened its reputation as one of the city's premier waterfront destinations. He also held regional leadership oversight with Maverick Hotels & Restaurants, guiding multi-property performance and operational excellence across a diverse portfolio.
Known for his collaborative leadership style and people-first philosophy, Romero was drawn to Radisson Blu for the opportunity to join a thriving international brand and positively impact the Chicago's property's diverse service offerings.
