In this role, Duverge will oversee all hotel operations, with a focus on strategic growth, owner relations, team leadership, and delivering an elevated guest experience across rooms, food and beverage, and meetings and events.
Duverge brings more than 20 years of senior hotel leadership experience across iconic city hotels, design-forward lifestyle properties, and destination resorts; with a career defined by leading major renovations and optimizing operations. His appointment marks a new chapter for Hotel Nia as it continues to strengthen its position as a premier destination for Silicon Valley business and leisure travelers.
A hospitality leader with deep roots in the San Francisco Bay Area, Duverge brings extensive local market knowledge and a proven track record leading some of the region's most recognized hotels. Most recently, he served as General Manager of the Grand Bay Hotel San Francisco, overseeing operations and guest experience initiatives. Previously, he held General Manager roles at several landmark Bay Area properties, including The Clift Royal Sonesta, where he led the hotel's reopening following a comprehensive renovation, as well as The Marker San Francisco and Hotel Zetta. Duverge's expertise is complemented by a strong background in luxury hospitality, having served as General Manager of The Liberty Hotel in Boston, a Luxury Collection property, and holding pre-opening and repositioning roles with Viceroy Hotel Group across the United States, United Arab Emirates, and Turkey.
Recognized for strong owner relations and a collaborative leadership style, Duverge brings a balanced, performance-driven approach to Hotel Nia, grounded in operational excellence and long-term value creation.
