Tayna Zasada has been appointed as Director of Sales, Marketing and Events at Hyatt Regency Lake Washington at Seattle's Southport

Hyatt Regency Lake Washington at Seattle’s Southport, an upscale resort-style hotel set along the tranquil shores of Lake Washington, announces the appointment of Tayna Zasada as Director of Sales, Marketing and Events. In her role, Zasada will lead strategic sales and marketing initiatives to further position the hotel as a premier waterfront destination for meetings, events, and leisure travel.

With more than a decade of hospitality experience, Zasada began her career as a special events intern with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Milwaukee before transitioning into hospitality as a Sales and Marketing Coordinator at the Hard Rock Café. There, she refined her marketing expertise by managing social media platforms and website content, solidifying her passion for the industry.

Zasada joined Hyatt as a Group and Business Travel Sales Manager at Hyatt Place Minneapolis before relocating to Dallas, where her career quickly progressed. She worked as a manager on the sales team at Hyatt Regency Dallas, where she was part of the 2019 Sales Team of the Year, followed by a promotion to Hyatt Regency DFW where she worked as an Associate Director of Sales.

Her career then brought her to Seattle where she was promoted to Area Associate Director of Sales for the Hyatt Seattle Collection, overseeing sales and marketing programs for Grand Hyatt Seattle, Hyatt Regency Seattle, and Olive 8. Most recently, Zasada served as Director of Sales at Grand Hyatt Seattle, leading the team to a record-breaking production year positioning the hotel for both short- and long-term growth.

Originally from Milwaukee, WI, Zasada earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and Advertising from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She has also served as Co-Chair of the Women of Hyatt in both the Greater Seattle Area and Dallas, supporting colleagues through education, networking, wellbeing, and volunteer initiatives.
