Andrew Lombard has been appointed as General Manager at Claremont Resort & Club
Claremont Resort & Club has announced the appointment of Andrew Lombard as General Manager of The Club, the resort’s legendary private members club, which is also available to hotel guests.
In his new role, Lombard will lead day-to-day operations and oversee the member and guest experience across The Club’s expansive wellness, recreation and social offerings. Amenities include eight tennis courts, four pickleball courts for open play, clinics and private lessons, three heated saltwater pools, a sauna, and a robust schedule of fitness classes in specialized studios, among other facilities.
Lombard is a senior club and hospitality leader with deep experience across private clubs and luxury resort environments in California. His background spans operations encompassing membership, dining, wellness, events and staff culture, with a focus on delivering a consistently exceptional, member-centered experience. Known for a hands-on, visible leadership style, he builds strong service cultures rooted in accountability, consistency and pride in execution.
Throughout his career, Lombard has driven membership engagement, improved retention, elevated food and beverage performance, and strengthened day-to-day operations by setting clear standards and staying closely connected to both members and staff.
