Andrew Finn has been appointed as General Manager at Palmer House a Hilton Hotel
Palmer House, a Hilton Hotel, is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Finn as General Manager. In this role, Finn oversees the full guest experience and hotel operations portfolio of the 1,641-room landmark property, including its signature food and beverage venues, Lockwood Restaurant & Bar and Potter’s Bar, and more than 130,000 square feet of meeting and event space. He is responsible for leading all hotel operations and cultivating a high-performing team to meet all financial, service and guest satisfaction goals. Finn brings nearly four decades of experience within Hilton, spanning operations, finance, and leadership across some of the brand’s most complex hotels. In his new role with Palmer House, he plans to build upon the hotel’s legacy as one of Chicago’s most storied destinations, continuing to enhance the guest experience and preserve its historic character.
Prior to joining the team, Finn served as the General Manager at Hilton Chicago O’Hare Airport beginning in 2023 and Illinois’ Hilton Rosemont, A Hilton Hotel from 2017 to 2022. While he has extensive knowledge of the Greater Chicago hospitality landscape and the Hilton brand, Finn also has direct experience with Palmer House as he was the Hotel Manager from 2015 to 2017.
Originally from Ireland, Finn moved to the U.S. and immediately began his career with Hilton Chicago at Kitty O’Sheas, where he was part of the original opening team brought from Ireland to launch the renowned Irish pub. After spending most of his career in Chicago, Finn is passionate about immersing himself in his community. He is a current board member of the Murphy Lake Association and previously held board positions in the Illinois Hotel and Lodging Association and Chicago Loop Association. During his free time, Andy enjoys traveling to various Hilton hotels across the world in pursuit of the best golf courses, and is extremely devoted to his family, including his wife Karen and their four children.
