Matt Karow has been appointed as General Manager at Hilton Madison Monona Terrace
Marcus® Hotels & Resorts, a nationally recognized hotel owner and management company and division of Marcus Corporation, today announced Matt Karow has been appointed general manager of Hilton Madison Monona Terrace in Madison, Wisconsin. Karow brings over two decades of hospitality experience to his new role as he oversees operations at the award-winning 240-room hotel, which is connected to the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center.
Karow joins Marcus Hotels & Resorts after most recently serving as general manager at Hotel Heron, Curio Collection by Hilton, in Alexandria, Virginia, where he successfully led the hotel's transition from an independent property to the Curio Collection in four months. Prior to that, Karow held several notable general manager and management positions at properties across the United States, including General Manager of Art Ovation Hotel, Autograph Collection in Sarasota, Florida; The Daytona, Autograph Collection in Daytona Beach, Florida; and Hyatt Centric Old Town in Alexandria, Virginia.
A Wisconsin native, Karow holds a bachelor's degree in communication and media studies from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.
