Christophe Hilty has been appointed as General Manager at Park Hyatt Mexico City Polanco
Park Hyatt Mexico City Polanco today announced the appointment of Christophe Hilty as General Manager. In this role, Christophe Hilty will lead the highly anticipated hotel’s pre-opening journey ahead of its expected early 2027 debut, bringing more than 25 years of international luxury hospitality experience to the Park Hyatt brand’s forthcoming arrival in Mexico City.
Set in the sophisticated Polanco neighborhood near Chapultepec Park, Park Hyatt Mexico City Polanco is envisioned as a deeply considered expression of modern urban luxury, where architecture, art, design and intuitive service come together in one of the Americas’ most dynamic capitals. Designed by SOMA as a unified vision for the full 30-story building, the project brings together the hotel and Park Hyatt Mexico City Polanco Residences within one cohesive expression of contemporary luxury.
As an integral part of the landmark Park Hyatt Mexico City Polanco project, Park Hyatt Mexico City Polanco Residences is a limited collection of 27 private residences located within the same iconic 30-story tower as the hotel. Designed by SOMA as part of a unified architectural vision for the full building, the residences complement the hotel experience with an elevated expression of private living, personalized service and deep connection to Polanco. Spanning six distinct home typologies, the residences reflect the same discretion, sophistication and thoughtful design that shapes every aspect of the project.
As General Manager, Christophe Hilty will guide the hotel’s operational readiness, team recruitment, culture development and market positioning, with a focus on cultivating the highly personalized service and residentially inspired elegance for which Park Hyatt is known.
Christophe Hilty joins Park Hyatt Mexico City Polanco following senior leadership roles across some of the world's most celebrated ultra-luxury hospitality brands. His career spans multiple tenures with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, across properties in Riyadh, Los Angeles, London and the Seychelles, as well as the Dorchester Collection's 45 Park Lane in London, the grand historic Le Richemond in Geneva, and an opening General Manager appointment at Cheval Blanc Paris, LVMH's flagship urban hotel and one of the most acclaimed luxury openings of its era. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Global Operations at CORE: New York, overseeing the member experience and operations of the renowned Fifth Avenue private club.
Upon opening, Park Hyatt Mexico City Polanco will welcome guests into a composed, highly personal hospitality experience, where thoughtful service, cultural fluency and a sense of quiet discovery guide every moment. Under Christophe Hilty’s leadership, the hotel is poised to become a defining address for modern luxury in Mexico City, one shaped not by spectacle, but by the confidence, warmth and nuance of the capital itself.
