Jytte Vestergaard has been appointed as General Manager at Moxy Aarhus

Core Hospitality has appointed Jytte Vestergaard as General Manager of Moxy Aarhus - or “Captain,” as the role is known within Moxy Hotels. With more than 30 years of industry experience, she will be responsible for the hotel’s day-to-day operations, building the team, and ensuring outstanding guest experiences at the upcoming lifestyle hotel.

Moxy Aarhus is expected to open in late 2026 with 188 roomsand will become part of Marriott International’sdistinctive and well-known Moxy brand, recognized for its modern design, social atmosphere, and unconventional approach to the hotel experience.

The heart of the hotel will be Bar Moxy, where the reception, lounge, and bar are combined into one vibrant social hub. Located on the hotel’s second floor, the space will offer direct access to a large outdoor terrace facing The Coal Bridgre ’Kulbroen’- Aarhus’ answer to New York’s High Line. This positioning will make Moxy Aarhus a natural part of the urban flow connecting the city’s creative communities and creating a lively interaction between the hotel and the city.

Jytte Vestergaard has been part of Core Hospitality for 10 years and has built extensive experience in hotel operations, leadership, developing strong guest experiences, and overseeing multiple hotels within the group. With many years of management experience and a strong passion for delivering results and memorable guest experiences, she brings both operational expertise and a clear focus on development to the role. She will also continue as Director of Operations for the two Four Points Flex hotels in Aarhus Skejbyand Aarhus Viby.
