Jesse Kearns has been promoted to General Manager at AC Hotel Chicago Downtown

Marcus Hotels & Resorts, a nationally recognized hotel owner and management company and division of Marcus Corporation, today announced the promotion of Jesse Kearns to General Manager of AC Hotel Chicago Downtown, a 226-room modern hotel located in Chicago's River North area, just steps from the Magnificent Mile.

Kearns began his career with Marcus Hotels & Resorts in 2015 as Front Office Director at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, and was promoted to Director of Operations at Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark in Lake Geneva in 2017. In that role, he oversaw the extensive waterpark renovation, the creation of new food and beverage concepts and expanded guest entertainment offerings. His work contributed to the property being named a top five U.S. indoor waterpark by USA Today for two consecutive years. Kearns holds a bachelor's degree in hospitality administration and management from Ohio State University.

Jesse Kearns is an alumnus of The Ohio State University – Class of 2007.
