In this role, Ajit will oversee all aspects of the hotel's operations, commercial strategy, colleague culture and guest experience, while further strengthening Hyatt Centric Sector 17 Chandigarh's position as a vibrant lifestyle destination at the heart of the City Beautiful.
A hospitality professional with more than two decades of experience, Ajit brings a strong track record of operational leadership, commercial acumen and talent development. His career spans hotel leadership roles across renowned hospitality brands including The Oberoi Group, Taj Hotels, Marriott and The Lalit, with experience across luxury, leisure, corporate and MICE segments.
Prior to this appointment, Ajit served as General Manager at Hyatt Centric Dehradun, where he successfully led the hotel with a focus on operational excellence, colleague engagement and guest satisfaction. His leadership has earned industry recognition, including the Iconic General Manager of the Year 2025 award by Times Hospitality Icons and the Top 20 General Managers - People's Choice Awards in both 2024 and 2025.
