A new chapter of luxury wellness is unfolding at Joya Spa as Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia proudly announces the appointment of Stephanie Schweppe as its new Spa Director. With a rich background of nearly 30 years of spa leadership and luxury hospitality experience under her belt, Schweppe is poised to usher in the next era of the resort's 31,000-square-foot Moroccan-inspired wellness sanctuary, where she will oversee guest experience, spa operations, and special programming as she continues Joya Spa’s rich legacy as one of the most iconic wellness destinations in Scottsdale.
With more than two decades of experience in wellness and hospitality, Schweppe has built an impressive portfolio of leadership experience across luxury resorts and world-renowned spas, cultivating a reputation for operational excellence, innovative programming, and guest-centered service. Her prolific career includes leadership roles at local Arizona resorts and hotels such as Bliss Spa at W Hotels, Steiner Leisure Spa Division, and Talking Stick Resort, where she strengthened the distinctive identities and character of each location. Drawing from her extensive expertise, Schweppe has an unparalleled understanding of Arizona’s wellness landscape and local clientele, and her deep connection to the market makes her instrumental in enhancing Omni Scottsdale’s place in the community.
As she steps into a new role as Spa Director at Omni Scottsdale’s Joya Spa, Schweppe will oversee the resort’s expansive Moroccan-inspired sanctuary, a renowned haven for unique wellness experiences thoughtfully conceived by Sylvia Sepielli, the visionary behind some of the world’s most celebrated spas. This award-winning oasis features custom massages, facials, and body treatments, along with private suites, a relaxation room, a Joy of Purification Room with a 55 lb. quartz crystal, and seasonal wellness programming. As she looks toward the future, Schweppe hopes to embrace the evolving needs of today’s wellness traveler while preserving the authentic character of Joya Spa through the expansion of experiential programming, guest rituals, and engaging events.
