Will Curley has been appointed as Assistant Food & Beverage Director at Kimpton The Forum Hotel
Kimpton The Forum Hotel is proud to announce the appointment of hospitality veteran and premier Virginia wine advocate, Will Curley, as its new Assistant Food & Beverage Director. In this role, Curley will oversee the property’s wine programs, curated dining experiences, and beverage operations, further cementing Kimpton The Forum Hotel as a premier destination for local wine culture and exceptional hospitality.
Curley brings over a decade of high-level restaurant and retail experience to the role. Most notably, he spent six years owning and operating The Wine Guild of Charlottesville, where he established deep-rooted connections with local winemakers and championed the Monticello AVA. Curley’s passion for the region previously earned him an award with distinction as one of the top five supporters of Virginia wine in a retail or restaurant space—an honor shared with the James Beard-nominated restaurant Field & Main.
To launch this vision, Curley’s immediate plans for the beverage program include introducing monthly Social Hour features in collaboration with local wineries, giving guests the unique opportunity to interact directly with Virginia’s top producers.
When he isn't curating wine lists or mentoring hospitality professionals, Curley is an active voice in the regional wine conversation, recently contributing to an article on the art of aging wine for Virginia Wine and Country Living. Locally, he enjoys walking along Riverview Park and unwinding at Hogwaller Brewing.
