Rosewood Cape Kidnappers has appointed Ray Jingshu Zhang as Director of Operations. Ray joins the Hawke's Bay property with more than 15 years of luxury hospitality leadership experience spanning Australia, China, Vietnam, the Philippines, Taiwan and Indonesia. Most recently, he served as General Manager of the acclaimed Lake House Daylesford, one of Australia's leading luxury lodge destinations.
Known for his collaborative leadership style and people-first approach, Ray has built a reputation for developing high-performing teams and fostering strong workplace culture. His appointment reflects Rosewood Cape Kidnappers' continued investment in experienced leadership as the property builds on its reputation as one of New Zealand's leading luxury lodges.
In addition to his international operational experience, Ray is fluent in both English and Mandarin, strengthening the property's ability to connect with guests and colleagues across key international markets.
