Jonathan “Jon” Waits has been appointed as Director of Sales at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Pflugerville and Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Pflugerville
The dual-branded La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Pflugerville and Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Pflugerville, a property proudly managed by Beechwood Hospitality, an MMI company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jonathan "Jon" Waits as Director of Sales. In his new role, Waits will lead sales strategy and business development for the two hotels located in the greater Austin market.
Waits brings a strong background in sales leadership, business development and revenue growth to the role, including five years with Wyndham-branded products. Most recently, Waits served as Director of Sales & Operations for Launch Commercial, a national commercial real estate support company. His experience developing scalable sales processes and cultivating long-term client relationships will support his efforts to expand the Pflugerville hotels' reach among businesses, organizations and groups throughout Central Texas.
Waits joins the Pflugerville team on the heels of impressive brand recognition for Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Pflugerville. The hotel was recently honored with two 2026 Wyndham Brand Connection Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Awards for Hotel of the Year and Quality of the Year, recognizing the property's performance and commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Waits studied Communications and Broadcasting at Liberty University. He now calls the Austin area home with his wife and daughter.
