Randall Wilkie has been appointed as General Manager at The Strand Turks & Caicos

The Strand Turks & Caicos, part of The Leading Hotels of the World Ltd. network, announces the recent appointment of Randall Wilkie as general manager of the luxury resort. An accomplished hospitality executive with more than 40 years of experience leading, advising and transforming world-class hotels and resorts across the Caribbean and United Kingdom, Wilkie brings deep strategic and operational expertise to this role.

Prior to his appointment at The Strand, Wilkie held the general manager position at Sandy Lane Hotel in Barbados, another distinguished member of Leading Hotels of the World, where he helped uphold the resort's internationally recognized standards of luxury and service excellence. He has also served as a trusted hospitality consultant for award-winning, luxury resorts spanning the opening of Blue Monkey Hotel & Beach Club, Barbados; Hotel Le Tremplin, France; and St. Brelade’s Bay HotelThe Warren Resort & Spa, and de Savary Hotels across the United Kingdom and British Isles. With a leadership style described as "people-centered, hands on and service driven," Wilkie is known for coaching and developing his teams while driving operational and commercial results.

Earlier in his career, Wilkie built his reputation as general manager at luxury resorts across the Caribbean, including Almond Beach Resort, Barbados; and various Sandals Resorts, including Sandals Montego Bay, Sandals Grande Antigua, and Sandals Jamaica Caribbean Cay, before serving as managing director at Blue Waters Resort & Spa, Antigua. In that role, Wilkie restored financial stability and redefined the hotel in the five-star luxury market before returning to Barbados to serve as managing director at Cobblers Cove, a historic, family-owned luxury boutique hotel and the island's only Relais & Châteaux property.
