Ian Crines has been named General Manager at Field & Stream Lodge Bozeman

Field & Stream Bozeman, the debut property from Field & Stream Lodge Co., announced the appointment of Ian Crines as General Manager. In this role, Crines will oversee day-to-day operations at the lodge, working with local partners to connect guests with outdoor experiences, while leading a team focused on service, comfort, and a genuine sense of place.

Crines most recently served as General Manager for Modus Hotels, where he was recognized by PM Hotel Group as “General Manager of the Year.” He stepped into the role in 2022, advancing from a food and beverage leadership position into room operations and hotel manager roles within the company, before ultimately leading Hotel Hive to a “Hotel of the Year” recognition in the Lifestyle division. In 2024, Penn State’s hospitality program honored him with its “Emerging Professional” alumni award. His career began at the Nittany Lion Inn, a full-service hotel on the campus of Pennsylvania State University, where he studied Hospitality Management.

At Field & Stream Lodge, Crines plans to build on that operational foundation, drawing on his passion for the outdoors to create memorable guest experiences. He intends to foster a culture of trust, with the property team serving as a resource that helps guests make the most of their visit. Above all, he wants travelers to leave with a sense of genuine, approachable hospitality and feel inspired to explore Bozeman and its surrounding community.
