Paul Jones has been appointed as General Manager at Mandarin Oriental Bangkok

Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Jones as General Manager, marking a return to the hotel where he first joined Mandarin Oriental more than two decades ago.

Jones previously served as Hotel Manager at Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok from 2005 to 2008. His appointment comes as the legendary hotel celebrates its 150th anniversary, a milestone in the history of one of the world's most celebrated hotels.
 

Returning to Bangkok after senior leadership roles across Asia and Europe, Jones brings extensive international experience within Mandarin Oriental. His career has included General Manager appointments at Mandarin Oriental, Singapore; Mandarin Oriental, Taipei; Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo; and most recently Mandarin Oriental, Geneva.

Jones brings more than three decades of hospitality experience spanning Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Prior to joining Mandarin Oriental, he served as General Manager of The Oberoi Rajvilas and The Oberoi Vanyavilas in Rajasthan. Earlier in his career, he held a variety of leadership positions in the Middle East and London.
