Jihan Jaleel has been appointed as General Manager at The Artiste Kochi, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

With more than two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, Jihan is a seasoned hospitality leader with more than two decades of experience in hotel operations, revenue management, guest experience, and organisational transformation. Throughout her distinguished career, she has worked with leading hospitality brands, including Marriott International and IHCL – Taj Hotels.

Jihan began her hospitality journey with Marriott in the first Marriott hotel in Kerala, Courtyard by Marriott, and has since held key leadership roles with renowned properties such as Kochi Marriott Hotel and Taj Malabar. Her decade-long association with Marriott International saw her progress through various operational leadership positions while contributing to significant pre-opening and renovation projects.

Over the course of her career, Jihan has earned recognition for her commitment to operational excellence, exceptional guest experiences, and strong business performance. Her accolades include the BW Hotelier South Zone Executive Housekeeper Award and recognition as a Top Five Finalist in the Housekeeper Category at the Hotelier Awards. She has also consistently delivered outstanding results in room profitability, food and beverage performance, guest satisfaction, and talent retention.

In her new role, Jihan will focus on driving operational excellence, elevating guest experiences, nurturing talent, and strengthening the hotel's overall business performance, while further enhancing The Artiste Kochi's reputation as a distinctive hospitality destination.

Outside of her professional commitments, Jihan enjoys travelling, exploring new cultures and destinations, reading, and discovering cinema.
