Vivian Lacroix has been appointed as Director of Catering Sales and Events at The LINE DC

The LINE DC is pleased to announce the appointment of Vivian Lacroix as Director of Catering Sales and Events. In her new role, Lacroix will lead the hotel's catering sales and events strategy, working alongside its culinary and hospitality teams to create gatherings that reflect the LINE DC's distinctive sense of place and creative spirit. She will also focus on expanding the hotel's position as a premier destination for corporate, diplomatic, social, and celebratory events in Washington, D.C.

Vivian Lacroix

With more than 25 years of experience spanning hospitality, sales, event strategy and operations, Lacroix has built a reputation as a dynamic, results-driven leader with a passion for creating memorable experiences, developing high-performing teams, and cultivating lasting client relationships. Her career includes leadership roles with some of the hospitality industry's most recognized brands and properties, including Salamander Washington DC, The Watergate Hotel, The Ritz-Carlton, Hilton and Starwood, as well as extensive experience in restaurant operations and independent event and design ventures.

Lacroix began her career in New York City with Wilhelmina Models before transitioning into hospitality, where her creativity, entrepreneurial spirit and instinct for connecting with people became defining elements of her career. She spent several formative years in New York's restaurant industry with B.R. Guest Hospitality Group, holding management and beverage leadership roles across several of the group's celebrated restaurants, including Ruby Foo's Uptown.

Joining the LINE DC brings Lacroix's career full circle in an especially meaningful way. Through the hotel's upcoming partnership with Fried Rice Collective, she has reconnected with Chef Scott Drewno, with whom she worked at Ruby Foo's Uptown nearly two decades ago. The unexpected reunion connects her early days in New York hospitality with this next chapter of her career in Washington, bringing together relationships, experience and a shared passion for hospitality cultivated over nearly two decades.

Throughout her career, Lacroix has led events ranging from intimate celebrations and private dinners to large-scale galas and complex corporate, diplomatic and social gatherings. Her approach combines creative vision and an instinct for memorable experiences with a strong understanding of sales strategy, revenue growth, and luxury service. Known for her approachable and transparent leadership style, Lacroix believes the most successful events begin with listening: understanding what matters to the client, challenging convention when it elevates the experience, and empowering teams to bring an idea to life.
