Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa, the Texas resort set along the banks of the Lower Colorado River just outside Austin, announced the appointment of Jonathan Rosenthal as Director of Food & Beverage. A 15-year Hyatt veteran, Rosenthal brings more than two decades of hospitality experience across resort, culinary and multi-venue food and beverage operations.
Rosenthal joins Lost Pines from Wild Dunes Resort, where he served as Director of Operations for Food and Beverage, leading extensive food, beverage, catering and banquet operations across the resort's 11 venues. Prior to that, he spent more than three years with Miraval Resorts & Spas, including as Director of Food and Beverage at Miraval Arizona Resort & Spa and as Regional Culinary and Beverage Experience Architect for Miraval Group, overseeing food and beverage strategy across the brand's three U.S. properties.
Rosenthal's Hyatt career began in 2012, and he has since held multiple positions across the brand, including at Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Gainey Ranch, Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa & Marina, Grand Hyatt San Francisco and Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Marina.
Outside of work, Rosenthal is an avid golfer and self-described space enthusiast who follows NASA developments in his free time. A lifelong Red Sox fan, he most enjoys spending time with his wife and their four children.
