Hubert Bazan has been appointed as Spa Director at Albert Hotel
Albert Hotel, a thoughtfully designed boutique Hill Country retreat located just off Main Street in Fredericksburg, has appointed Hubert Bazan as spa director. In his new role, Bazan will lead operations for The Spa at Albert Hotel, overseeing the guest experience, team development, service standards, retail strategy and continued evolution of the hotel’s locally inspired wellness programming.
Bazan brings more than two decades of experience in luxury spa operations across resort and urban hotel environments. Most recently, Hubert served as spa director at Mokara Hotel & Spa in San Antonio, Texas where he led a team of more than 50 across operations, treatments, retail, and facilities. During his tenure, he directed a multimillion-dollar operation, introduced revenue-driving guest experiences and implemented cost-control initiatives that strengthened performance while maintaining elevated service standards.
He began his progression with Omni as a massage therapist before advancing through supervisory and assistant director roles, giving him a hands-on understanding of both the practitioner and operational sides of the spa experience. His career also includes leadership roles at Mokara Spa at Omni Houston and task force assignments supporting Omni Hotels & Resorts properties in Houston, Oklahoma City, Frisco and Scottsdale. Selected to support the pre-opening of Mokara Spa in Frisco, Bazan helped guide vendor receiving, service-provider interviews, treatment-room readiness and training on spa protocols.
The Spa at Albert Hotel features seven private treatment rooms, blending Texas Hill Country serenity with refined elegance. Inspired by region-wide creeks, springs, and wildflower fields, the spa sanctuary invites guests to restore mind, body, and spirit.
