Hervé Fucho has been appointed as General Manager at Four Seasons Resort Dominican Republic at Tropicalia
Four Seasons announces the appointment of Hervé Fucho as General Manager of Four Seasons Resort Dominican Republic at Tropicalia, set to open in 2027. Developed by Cisneros Real Estate (Cisneros), this sustainable luxury resort is located along the northeastern coast of the Dominican Republic, along the shores of Playa Esmeralda, and features a tropical modernist design that inspires guests to engage with the natural environment.
Fucho was born in Angouleme, France, surrounded by gastronomic and creative inspiration from his family. He went on to hospitality school, then honed his skills at restaurants in England, Ireland and Germany, before embarking on his Four Seasons journey.
He brings nearly three decades of experience from Four Seasons addresses across three continents. His career includes Executive Chef roles in Punta Mita and Hong Kong, where he oversaw Michelin-starred dining. Fucho later transitioned into resort operations at a former Four Seasons property in St. Petersburg, Russia, and most recently as Resort Manager at Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo, Mexico, where he helped establish a sustainable farm that connected guests with local agricultural traditions.
The appointment reflects a shared vision grounded in nearly two decades of stewardship by Cisneros along the Dominican coast. Tropicalia itself is designed as a destination where local culinary traditions, conservation, and cultural heritage naturally intertwine, creating an authentic sense of place that aligns seamlessly with Fucho’s leadership.
Away from the Resort, Hervé enjoys spending time with his two daughters, tending to his succulents, and outdoor pursuits including kite surfing, windsurfing, and sky diving.
