Mitchell Duggan has been appointed as General Manager at Sheraton Grand Sacramento Hotel
The Sheraton Grand Sacramento Hotel is proud to announce Mitchell Duggan has been named General Manager, effective immediately. Duggan joins during an exciting time for the iconic downtown hotel, given its multi-year transformation was completed earlier this year, coinciding with the hotel's 25th anniversary.
Duggan brings more than 23 years of Marriott luxury hospitality experience and a proven record of operational excellence, commercial success and people leadership to the Sheraton Grand Sacramento Hotel.
Throughout his career with The Ritz-Carlton, he has held progressive leadership roles, first joining the brand as opening Director of Food & Beverage at The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach. He then went on to serve at The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester; The Ritz-Carlton, Battery Park; and The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami.
In his most recent role as Hotel Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, Duggan helped lead one of the brand's premier luxury resorts through a period of significant growth and transformation. During his tenure, the resort achieved exceptional associate engagement, leadership index and Intent to Recommend scores. He also championed Forbes standards training, developed innovative restaurant concepts and helped deliver record hotel revenues while strengthening the resort's culture of excellence.
