Tyler Groom has been appointed as Restaurant General Manager at Heathman Hotel
Heathman Hotel is preparing for its next phase as it approaches its 100th anniversary in 2027, and has announced the appointment of Tyler Groom as Restaurant General Manager of the iconic Portland property.
Groom will oversee the day-to-day operations of Bar Sprezzatura, Michael Mina and The Mina Group’s Italian-inspired restaurant and bar. He brings over two decades of hospitality experience across luxury hotels, independent restaurants and food and beverage operations, with previous leadership roles at Kimpton Riverplace Hotel and Submarine Hospitality, Ava Gene’s and Tusk. At Bar Sprezzatura, he will oversee the restaurant’s opening team, guiding service, team development and the overall guest experience as the new concept prepares to welcome its first guests this fall. Groom will help establish the foundation for the restaurant’s operations and service as it enters its next chapter.
