Yule Peixoto has been appointed as General Manager at Kimpton Grand Roatan Resort and Spa
Kimpton Grand Roatán Resort & Spa, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts’ luxury and lifestyle portfolio, announces today the promotion of Yule Peixoto to General Manager. A people-focused leader with nearly two decades of experience in luxury, lifestyle and full-service hotels, Peixoto steps into the role after serving as the resort’s Hotel Manager, and will now lead all aspects of the property’s operations, team and guest experience.
Originally from Brazil, Peixoto has built an international career spanning Brazil, Cuba, Mexico and Honduras, holding leadership positions with renowned global hospitality companies including IHG Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International/Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Banyan Tree, Blue Diamond Resorts and Carmel Hotels. Prior to joining Kimpton Grand Roatán, he held General Manager and senior operational leadership positions with Marriott, Blue Diamond Resorts and Carmel Hotels, where he managed luxury and full-service properties, supported hotel openings, strengthened brand standards, and drove financial and guest experience performance. His expertise spans hotel operations, commercial strategy, pre-opening operations and the development of exceptional teams.
Peixoto joined Kimpton Grand Roatán Resort & Spa in 2024 as Resort Manager and was promoted to Hotel Manager in early 2026 before taking on his new role as General Manager. Throughout his tenure, he has been instrumental in strengthening the resort’s operational performance, developing talent, elevating the guest experience, and fostering strong relationships with ownership and IHG leadership. His appointment follows the resort’s recent recognition in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide hotel selection, where it was awarded a MICHELIN Key, one of only two properties in Honduras to receive the distinction. His leadership approach centers on developing people, fostering a strong service culture, and pairing operational excellence with genuine, personalized hospitality.
Peixoto holds a Bachelor of Science in International Hospitality Management and a degree in Human Resources Management, as well as postgraduate studies in Business Management and an MBA in Leadership and Team Management. He is fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
