Set on the waterfront of Murano Island, The Langham, Venice will transform the historic 16th Century Casino Mocenigo, and a former glass factory into a 133-room luxury resort, including 30 suites. Designed by Matteo Thun & Partners, the hotel will celebrate the island’s renowned glassmaking heritage while preserving the site’s Renaissance architecture, original 16th-century frescoes and industrial character. The resort will feature indoor and alfresco dining, a rooftop bar and a private cooking school, while a secluded courtyard garden with a 20-metre swimming pool will form the heart of the property. Together, these elements will set a new standard for luxury hospitality in Venice, seamlessly integrating heritage with modernity at one of the city’s most renowned sites.
