Radisson Announces the Opening of Radisson Hotel Trinidad

Radisson®, one of the world's best-recognized hotel brands, today announced the opening of the Radisson Hotel Trinidad. The 243-room hotel is on Wrightson Road in Port of Spain and offers a variety of guest rooms and suites. "The opening of this hotel reinforces our commitment to enhance the brand's portfolio and further expand throughout the Americas," said Javier Rosenberg, chief operating officer, Radisson. "This is the third hotel we have opened in the Caribbean in the last year with this ownership group, we are excited about this expansion and are pleased to welcome a hotel that is perfect for both business and leisure guests."

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants Announces Plans to Open Its First Caribbean Hotel

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants today announced plans for the brand's first Caribbean resort with the development of a 263-room hotel on acclaimed Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. Developer Dart Realty (Cayman) Ltd. awarded Kimpton the management contract for what will be Grand Cayman's first design driven, boutique-style hotel and the first new development on famed Seven Mile Beach in a decade when it opens in 2016.

Radisson expands Caribbean presence with opening of Barbados resort

Radisson, one of the world's best-recognized hotel brands, today announced the opening of the Radisson Aquatica Resort Barbados, set on picturesque Carlisle Bay. The beachfront resort, which recently completed an $8 million renovation, offers 124-rooms including five Pier Suites and one Presidential Suite. This unique property is located in a marine reserve and features a historic Victorian Pier that is 200 feet long and recently declared a United Nations World Heritage site.
