Onity’s New Wireless innPULSE® Network Simplifies Energy Management Controls for Commercial Facilities

ATLANTA | Onity has announced the launch of Wireless innPULSE®, an innovative new radio-frequency (RF) network that wirelessly connects SensorStat® DDC thermostats to Onity’s innPULSE® energy management software. This enables users to network Onity’s proprietary SensorStat products together to form a comprehensive Energy Management System (EMS) without the need for hardwiring from each SensorStat occupancy-sensing digital thermostat. In addition to the SensorStat DDC’s built-in occupancy detection capabilities, innPULSE further reduces HVAC runtime and associated energy cost savings when the software communicates that a room is “UNOCCUPIED,” allowing innPULSE and SensorStat to set the temperature back to a management-defined, energy-saving level on demand. As rooms become occupied, the system automatically adjusts the temperature to ensure occupant comfort by preheating or cooling the room prior to their arrival.
