InnVest REIT Hotels Supports Canadian Troops!

TORONTO, ON — InnVest REIT Hotels donates 3,300 gift certificates to 'To The Stan and Back' giving Canadian Forces members and their families discounted rates at a selection of its hotels across Canada this summer. With these certificates, military members enjoy InnVest's friends & family rates at participating hotels from July 1 -- September 30, 2010.

"We are pleased to support our Canadian troops in a practical and meaningful way, especially those who have served in Afghanistan. It is our way of saying thank you."

"'To The Stan and Back' was started 18 months ago as a tangible way to say thank you to our soldiers for their selfless sacrifice for our country," says Cheri Elliott, founder of 'To The Stan and Back,' whose son just returned from Afghanistan. These donations are in addition to monies collected at the "Party Under the Stars" event held on April 20, 2010 with Defence Minister Peter MacKay and Minister of Public Safety Vic Toews, added Elliot.

Canadian Forces members receiving InnVest's gift certificates can choose from participating Best Western, Comfort, Holiday Inn, Les Suites, Quality, Staybridge Suites and Travelodge hotels across Canada. With this certificate, Canadian Forces members and their families will be receiving discounted rates at 132 participating hotels -- up to 50% off at some locations upon presentation of their military ID and the gift certificate.
